Celebrate the 101st birthday of the legendary "Soul Sauce" architect, Cal Tjader, as Award-winning vibraphonist Yuhan Su makes her highly anticipated band-leading debut at Dizzy’s Club. Fronting a stellar sextet, Su honors the ultimate pioneer of Latin jazz by navigating a brilliantly curated retrospective of Tjader’s career—from the explosive mambos and deep Afro-Cuban grooves to his hypnotic, rare adventures into exoticism, rare-groove jazz-funk, and Brazilian jazz.
