Description
The veteran quartet, BLUES People, has been heralded by many as the “New Sound of NYC/North Jersey Blues.” Their 2024 debut album, The Skin I’m In, was nominated for Best Blues Album Debut by Blues Blast magazine. They won the regional International Blues Challenge in 2024 and 2025, made the semifinals at the global International Blues Challenge in 2025 and 2026, and appeared with Christone “Kingfish” Ingram’s 2026
