The Next Wave Jazz Orchestra, led by Caelan Cardello and Jonny Gittings, brings together some of New York’s most exciting rising musicians for a vibrant big band evening featuring special guest vocalist Kate Kortum. The program moves between the music of legends like Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Thad Jones and fresh new arrangements and originals, showing how the big band tradition continues to evolve today.
