Jazz at Lincoln Center is proud to honor South African Freedom Day with a three-night series at Dizzy's club featuring South African jazz musicians. This show featuresone of South Africa's living legends of Jazz, McCoy Mrubata, presenting his extraordinary band Siyabulela. "Siyabulela," meaning "we give thanks," offers up McCoy's uniquely joyous and richly melodic music, fusing the musical traditions of South Africa's Xhosa people with America's Jazz traditions.
