Under the direction of trumpeters Jon Faddis and John Hasselback III, the band channels the spirit of legends like Duke Ellington and Count Basie while embracing bold, contemporary voices. This performance honors the centennial legacies of Miles Davis and John Coltrane, two artists who changed the direction of jazz forever.
