Name
Stan Getz at 99 with Harry Allen Quartet
Description

Celebrate what would have been Stan Getz’s 99th birthday with a swinging tribute led by tenor saxophonist Harry Allen. Known for the warm, effortless sound that Gene Lees once described as the realization of the “perfect” tenor player, Allen brings deep respect and personal voice to Getz’s legacy. With more than 70 albums as a leader and a career that includes collaborations with Tony Bennett, Ray Brown, Rosemary Clooney, Hank Jones, and Tommy Flanagan, Allen is joined by an all-star quartet to explore the full range of Getz’s music, from cool jazz to bossa nova, with elegance, joy, and unmistakable swing.
