Bassist and composer Carlos Henriquez returns to Dizzy’s Club with his award-winning nonet to perform music from his latest album, A Nuyorican Tale. A standout member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Henriquez blends jazz with the vibrant rhythms of Afro-Caribbean traditions, honoring his roots and the rich cultural legacy of New York’s Nuyorican community. Following last season’s sold-out run, this high-energy program is back by popular demand, offering an evening of dynamic music and powerful storytelling.
