 In a rare appearance at Dizzy’s Club, the legendary Vanguard Jazz Orchestra brings its Grammy-winning big band sound uptown for an intimate tribute to Thad Jones. Founded in 1966 and still the resident ensemble of the Village Vanguard, this powerhouse has carried forward nearly six decades of tradition. Now audiences have a special chance to hear one of the world’s premier big bands in a new setting.
