For nearly 20 years, Dan Nimmer has been the pianist for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, bringing an exceptional blend of technique, swing, and restraint reminiscent of his heroes—Oscar Peterson, Wynton Kelly, and Art Tatum. Nimmer, with several albums to his name, leads his trio for two nights at Dizzy’s, featuring David Wong on bass and Aaron Kimmel on drums, two of New York's most in-demand players.
