For nearly 20 years, Dan Nimmer has been the pianist for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, bringing an exceptional blend of technique, swing, and restraint reminiscent of his heroes—Oscar Peterson, Wynton Kelly, and Art Tatum. Nimmer, with several albums to his name, leads his trio for two nights at Dizzy’s, featuring Peter Washington (11/19) and David Wong (11/20) on bass, and Aaron Kimmel on drums, three of New York's most in-demand players. Expect an evening of effortless swing and masterful musicianship, as Nimmer’s trio takes the stage.
