Description

"The Presidential Suite" by Ted Nash is a unique musical composition that blends jazz with history and politics. Inspired by famous political speeches, the suite reinterprets powerful moments from history through jazz. Each movement is tied to a different speech by world leaders, such as Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Winston Churchill, and others, giving the words new resonance through music. The show features Nash's excellent big band and the result is an innovative blend of art, history, and social commentary, delivered in an engaging and thoughtful performance.
