Rajna Swaminathan creates many worlds from many textures, drawing them together in prismatic harmony on the bandstand. Leading her quartet at Dizzy’s Club for the first time, the award-winning mrudangam artist and composer presents new music driven by South Asian sensibilities, polyrhythmic explorations, and lush collective textures. Her sets center soundscaping and improvising; her music, exploration. Don’t miss this compelling event that features Matt Brewer, Charles Overton, and special guests Kalia Vandever and Ganavya.
