ABOUT THE CONCERT
Jazz at Lincoln Center welcomes the return of Rubén Blades, an electrifying performer and gifted artist. The Panamanian legend delights audiences with his multilingual mastery of phrasing, song interpretation, and Latin American traditions and his tremendous expressive range. For this Rose Theater performance, the award-winning vocalist, composer, and activist is joined by two ensembles with whom he’s earned multiple Grammy Awards: Brazilian vocal group Boca Livre and Costa Rican outfit Editus Ensemble. This event is a co-production with Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, combining cultural dynamism and artistic excellence.
