Harlem native Godwin Louis was hookingup the scene long before the success of his 2019 debut Global. His melodic depth on the alto saxophone centers beauty and dialogue. To Dizzy’s Club, Louis brings an ensemble of equally thoughtful, expressive artists to celebrate his new release Exploration on Hymns. Expect an evening of new music and converging influences, including creative groove music, straight-ahead lyricism, and striking improvisation.
