One of the most versatile voices on the scene, pianist and composer Mathis Picard draws inspiration from a range of musical styles, frequently inviting his French-Malagasy heritage to inform his creative explorations. An emerging leader and in-demand collaborator, Picard recently completed two solo piano tours, a 10-week JALC Productions Songs We Love tour, and an energetic trio set at Dizzy’s Club. He returns with his Sound Orchestra for an evening of memorable melodies, expressive soloing, and global healing.
